Bengals vs. Steelers Odds
The Pittsburgh Steelers welcome Ben Roethlisberger back to field on Sunday when they look to hand the Cincinnati Bengals their first loss at 1PM ET on CBS.
According to oddsmakers at MyBookie, Pittsburgh is the slight favorite at home, as the Steelers are getting odds of -1.5 points against the Bengals. The over/under total for the game has been set at 48.5 points. Pittsburgh has won three straight meetings with Cincinnati and the Steelers have covered the spread in eight of their last 10 against the Bengals.
Pittsburgh is 4-3 on the season, 5-1-1 against the spread and 6-1 with the under. The Steelers have been without Big Ben since he was injured early in Week 3. The team went 3-2 without him, but the offense definitely struggled. Pittsburgh is averaging just 22.6 points and 348.1 yards per game on the season while the defense is giving up 18.7 points and 376.6 yards per outing. Roethlisberger has thrown for 912 yards and four touchdowns in his limited action this year while Antonio Brown has 46 catches for 671 yards and two scores while Le’Veon Bell has run for 511 yards and three touchdowns.
Cincinnati is 6-0 on the season, 5-0-1 against the spread and 5-1 with the over. The Bengals are coming off their bye week, but they beat the Bills 34-21 on the road prior to that. Cincinnati is third in the NFL in scoring (30.3 ppg) and total yards (410.3 ypg) while the defense is allowing 20.3 points and 370.7 yards per game. Andy Dalton is off to a great start this year, as he has thrown for 1,761 yards and 14 touchdowns this year. A.J. Green has caught 35 passes for 531 yards and three scores while Giovani Bernard has rushed for 427 yards and two scores. The defense is led by Carlos Dunlap, who has 24 tackles and 6.5 sacks.
