Packers vs. Vikings Odds
The Minnesota Vikings look to expand their NFC North lead today when they host the Green Bay Packers at 4:25PM ET on FOX.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Minnesota is the slim favorite at home, as the Vikings are getting odds of -1 point against the Packers. The over/under total for the game has been set at 44 points. Green Bay is 4-0-1 in its last five meetings with Minnesota, going 3-2 against the spread in those five games.
Minnesota is 7-2 on the season, 8-1 against the spread and 7-1-1 with the under. The Vikings are coming off a 30-14 win over Oakland last week for their fifth straight win. Minnesota is averaging just 22 points and 328.7 yards per game on offense, but the defense is one of the best in the NFL. The Vikings rank second in the league in scoring defense, allowing just 17.1 points per contest. They also hold opponents to 336.6 yards per game. Adrian Peterson has run for 961 yards and five touchdowns to lead the offense while Teddy Bridgewater has thrown for 1,810 yards and seven touchdowns. The defense is led by Anthony Barr, who has 47 tackles with one INT and 1.5 sacks.
Green Bay is 6-3 on the year, 5-4 against the spread and 6-3 with the under. The Packers are coming off an 18-16 loss at home to the Lions, ending a 24-game win streak against Detroit at home. The Packers have now lost three straight since a 6-0 start. Green Bay is averaging 24.3 points and 344.3 yards per game on offense while the defense is giving up 20.6 points and 371.6 yards per game. Aaron Rodgers has thrown for 2,270 yards and 21 touchdowns this season to lead the offense while Randall Cobb has 45 catches for 529 yards and five scores. The defense is led by Clay Matthews, who has 42 tackles and 4.5 sacks.
