The Carolina Panthers look to get their biggest win of the season yet on Sunday when they host the Green Bay Packers at 1PM ET on FOX.
According to oddsmakers at MyBookie, Green Bay is favored at Carolina, as the Packers are getting odds of -2.5 points against the Panthers. The over/under total for the game has been set at 46.5 points. Green Bay has won its last two against Carolina and the Packers are four of their last six against the Panthers. These two have hit the over in five straight meetings.
Carolina is 7-0 on the season, 5-2 against the spread and 4-2-1 with the over. The Panthers are coming off a 29-26 OT win over the Colts on Monday night after blowing a 23-6 lead. Carolina is now averaging 27.3 points and 349.1 yards per game on offense, while the defense is holding opponents to 19.4 points and 347.3 yards per contest. Cam Newton has thrown for 1,523 yards and 11 touchdowns while rushing for 286 yards and four touchdowns. Jonathan Stewart has 505 rushing yards and three scores while Greg Olsen has 33 receptions for 518 yards and four scores. Josh Norman is leading the defense with 28 tackles and four interceptions.
Green Bay is 6-1 on the year, 5-2 against the spread and 5-2 with the under. The Packers are coming off a 29-10 loss at Denver on Sunday night in which the offense was completely held in check. Green Bay is putting up 24.9 points per game, yet the offense is 28th in the NFL in yards at 332.1 yards per contest. The defense is allowing just 18.6 points per game but giving up 375.7 yards per contest. Aaron Rodgers has thrown for 1,568 yards and 15 touchdowns this year while James Jones has 22 catches for 426 yards and six touchdowns. Clay Matthews is leading the defense with 32 tackles and 4.5 sacks.
