According to oddsmakers at MyBookie, Carolina is favored on the road, as the Panthers are getting odds of -5.5 points against the Titans. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 43.5 points. These two haven’t met since 2011, but Tennessee has won and covered the spread in their last three against the Panthers.

Carolina is 8-0 on the season, 6-2 against the spread and 5-2-1 with the over. The Panthers are coming off a 37-29 win over Green Bay to stay unbeaten. The Panthers have won five of their last seven by single digits. Carolina is averaging 28.5 points and 358.9 yards per game on offense, while the defense is allowing 20.6 points and 350 yards per contest. Cam Newton has thrown for 1,820 yards and 14 touchdowns while rushing for 343 yards and five scores to lead the offense while Greg Olsen has caught 37 passes with 584 yards and five touchdowns. The defense is led by Thomas Davis, who has 65 tackles and three interceptions.

Tennessee is 2-6 overall, 4-4 against the spread and 5-3 with the over. The Titans are coming off a 34-28 win over the Saints on the road last week to snap a six-game losing streak. Tennessee is allowing just 23.4 points and 239 yards per game this season on defense while the offense is posting just 19.9 points and 331.5 yards per contest. Marcus Mariota has thrown for 1,610 yards and 13 touchdowns to lead the offense while Delanie Walker has caught 42 passes for 456 yards and three touchdowns. The defense is led by Brian Orakpo, who has 22 tackles and five sacks.
