Bucs vs. Eagles Odds
Both the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Philadelphia Eagles look to get to the .500 mark today when they meet at 1PM ET on FOX.
According to oddsmakers at MyBookie.ag, the Eagles are favored at home, as Philadelphia is getting odds of -5.5 points against the Bucs. The over/under total for the game has been set at 45 points. The Eagles have won and covered the spread in three straight meetings with Tampa Bay.
Philly is 4-5 on the season, 4-5 against the spread and 7-2 with the under. The Eagles are coming off a 20-19 loss to the Dolphins at home last week. They are now averaging just 23.6 points per game despite putting up 374.1 yards per game. Defensively, Philadelphia is allowing 20.4 points and 358.1 yards per game. The team is without Sam Bradford and Ryan Mathews today. Mark Sanchez gets the start at QB. He is 14 of 23 passing for 156 yards with one INT this season. DeMarco Murray could see an increase in touches today. He has run for 451 yards and four scores this year. The defense is led by Brandon Graham, who has 33 tackles with 4.5 sacks.
Tampa Bay is 4-5 on the year, 5-4 against the spread and 5-4 with the over. The Bucs are coming off a 10-6 win at home over Dallas last week. Tampa is now averaging 21.2 points and 353.7 yards per game on offense while the defense is allowing 26.3 points and 334.2 yards per game. Jameis Winston has thrown for 2,159 yards and 10 touchdowns in his rookie season, but also has nine INTs. Doug Martin has run for 706 yards and three scores while Mike Evans has 40 catches for 662 yards and a touchdown. The defense is led by Lavonte David, who has 81 tackles with two sacks.
