Ravens vs. Bengals Pick
With how banged-up the Bengals are, is the under a good play when Cincinnati visits the Ravens at 1:00PM ET on Sunday?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Ravens are 4.5-point home favorites versus the Bengals while the over/under currently sits at 40.5 points. Baltimore opened as a 3-point favorite before the line moved to -4.5, while the total hit the board at 41.5 before being bet down a full point to 40.5.
The Bengals’ funk continued last week with a 16-12 home loss to the Bills as a 2.5-point favorite. Marvin Lewis’ team hasn’t won since a 31-17 victory at home versus the Browns over a month ago. Since that point, Cincinnati tied Washington in London, lost by a point on Monday night to the Giants, and fell to the Bills last Sunday at home. They’re now 3-6-1 straight up and have failed to cover the spread in seven of their 10 games in 2016.
The Ravens ran out of gas last Sunday in Dallas, falling to the red-hot Cowboys 27-17 as a 7-point road dog. The Raven had won back-to-back games before that loss but are now at 5-5 on the year. They’re also just 4-6 against the spread in their 10 games this season but are 3-2 at the betting window in their five home games. It’s been the road that has given Baltimore issues, as the Ravens are 1-4 against the spread away from M&T Bank Stadium.

OUR PREDICTION: The Bengals’ woes on offense will only continue now that A.J. Green and Gio Bernard are out with injuries. Even with Green and Bernard, the Bengals have struggled to find chemistry on offense. The offseason depatures of Hue Jackson, Marvin Jones and Mohamed Sanu have been evident in the team’s play this season and without Green and Bernard, those struggles will once again be on display Sunday against an excellent Baltimore defense. The under is 6-2 in the Bengals’ last eight road games and is 5-1 in the Ravens’ last six home games.
