According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Carolina is favored to win today’s playoff game, as the Panthers are getting odds of -2.5 points against the Seahawks. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 44 points. These two meet today at 1:05PM ET on FOX.

The public betting for this playoff game is backing the Panthers quite heavily, as Carolina is getting 67 percent of the wagers with the current -2.5-point spread. The Panthers come into this game 11-5 against the spread while the Seahawks are just 8-8-1 ATS. These two met back on Oct. 18 in Seattle with the Panthers picking up a 27-23 win despite being a 7-point underdog on the road.

Seattle played pretty well in the second half of the season, winning and covering the spread in six of its last seven games, including its last three road games. Last week Seattle won 10-9 at Minnesota, but failed to cover a 4-point spread. The Panthers went 15-1 this season but they were just 2-3 against the spread in their last five games. However, Carolina has covered in four straight at home.
