Broncos plan to keep Peyton under center?
NFL Network reporter James Palmer provided some insight into how the Broncos plan to use Peyton Manning today against the Steelers.

Tweeted Palmer on Saturday morning: “I’m told Peyton Manning will under center a lot more compared to those first 9 games. And the pistol has almost all but been eliminated.”
Perhaps bettors should take this report with a grain of salt. After all, NFL teams don’t make a habit of telling reporters what their game plan is, unless they’re trying to throw off their opposition. But if Palmer’s report is accurate, then perhaps Denver’s plan is to minimize Manning’s responsibility in the passing game and rely on its rushing attack and defense.
From a betting standpoint, this is potentially great news for Pittsburgh backers. Manning’s preference is to operate out of the shotgun and in the no-huddle. If the Broncos do plan to rely on their running game, the Steelers also rank fifth in the league in rushing yards allowed (91.2 per game). Their weakness is their pass defense, which is allowing 271.9 yards per game through their air (30th).
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Broncos are 7-point home favorites versus the Steelers while the over/under is currently sitting at 41 points.
