Who the Trends Like: Denver is 1-8 ATS in its last nine games played on grass. Denver is also 1-8 ATS in its last nine games on the road. Washington is 0-4 ATS in its last four games after a straight up win. Washington is 5-0 ATS in its last five games played in Week 16.
Who We Like: It seems as though the Redskins haven’t dealt with success very well as evidenced by losing their last four games against the spread after a straight up win. Washington has a huge injury report this season and they’ve added a couple of big games this week in running back Samaje Perine and wide receiver Jameson Crowder, both of whom are questionable. If one or both are out or even limited, the Washington offense will sputter. Denver should be able to run the ball today and have at least as good of a wide receiver group if not better, although Emmanuel Sanders hasn’t been the same since he began playing injured. Look for another big effort out of a revitalied Broncos defense. I’m going with the road team to cover here.
