Saints vs. Dolphins Total Pick
Will the New Orleans Saints and Miami Dolphins put on an offensive showcase when the two meet up Sunday morning at 9:30AM ET from London?
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, New Orleans is favored in this game, as the Saints are getting odds of -3 points against the Dolphins. The over/under total for the contest is listed at 50.5 points. The Saints have won their last two against Miami and the two have hit the over in four of their last five encounters. These two meet from Wembley Stadium in London and the game will air live on FOX.

Miami is 1-1 through two games, suffering a 20-6 loss to the Jets in New York last week. Miami has hit the under in both of their games, likely due to their offense. The Dolphins are averaging just 12.5 points and 295.5 yards per game on offense thus far. Jay Cutler has thrown for 450 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in two games. He has been sacked twice, however. Jay Ajayi has run for 138 yards, but 122 came in the win over the Chargers. Defensively, Miami is allowing just 18.5 points and 363.5 yards per game. However, they are giving up 290 passing yards per contest. The unit has created just one turnover through two games.
New Orleans picked up its first win of the season last week, 34-13 at Carolina. The Saints have hit the over in all three games this season. New Orleans hasn’t been dominant on offense, but found a stride over the last two games. They now average 24.3 points and 385.7 yards per game. Drew Brees has thrown for 867 yards and six touchdowns without an interception. Michael Thomas has caught 17 passes for 221 yards and a score. Mark Ingram is the leading rusher with 125 yards on 28 carries. On defense, the Saints are giving up 26 points and 452.3 yards per game, including 325.7 passing yards per contest.
The travel could play an impact on how the offenses look in this game. Both could look off early. However, I think this game should have plenty of fireworks. Miami’s defense isn’t good enough to stop the New Orleans passing attack, so I expect a big game for Brees. I also think the Dolphins will move the ball on this New Orleans defense, which has been very suspect against the pass.
