ODDS: According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the over/under currently sits at 52.5 points after hitting the board at 53. The Saints, meanwhile, are a 6-point home favorites versus the Falcons, who also opened as a 6-point underdog.

Bet NFL Week 16 Games

PUBLIC BETTING: As of this writing, 52% of the betting tickets are on the Saints to cover the spread and 79% of the money is also on New Orleans.

INJURY REPORT: Tevin Coleman (concussion) and Andy Levitre (triceps) are both questionable to return this week for the Falcons, who are otherwise healthy heading into Sunday’s game. For the Saints, Larry Warford (concussion), Ted Ginn (ribs) and Trey Hendrickson (ankle) are all questionable. Tight end Coby Fleener is out.

OUR PREDICTION: The over is 6-2-1 in the last nine meetings between these two teams when the game is played in New Orleans. The Saints are 15-5-1 in the Saints’ last 21 home games, is 4-1 in their last five games played in December, and is 10-1 in their last 11 games after accumulating more than 350 total yards in their previous game. On the other side, the over is 15-6-1 in the Falcons’ last 22 games coming off a win and 3-0-1 in their last four road games versus a team with a winning home record.

Atlanta’s offense is off-kilter and has relied more on its defense in recent weeks. That said, Alvin Kamara missed most of the first meeting between these two teams and now that he’s back, the Saints should move the ball at will on Sunday. And if the Saints set the pace, the Falcons should contribute more than enough points to push the total over.
