TV: FOX, 4:25 p.m. ET

Line: Falcons -4

ODDS: According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the over/under currently sits at 45 points after hitting the board at 47. The Falcons, meanwhile, opened as a 3-point home favorite but the line has climbed to 4 at the majority of sports books.

Bet NFL Week 17 Games

PUBLIC BETTING: As of this writing, the Panthers are receiving 57% of the betting tickets and 57% of the money to cover the point spread in Atlanta.

INJURY REPORT: Charles Johnson is probable after serving his four-game suspension for violating the league’s substance abuse policy. Kurt Coleman (ankle), Trai Turner (concussion), Spencer Paysinger (undisclosed), and Shaq Thompson (foot) are questionable to play for Carolina.

For Atlanta, Andy Levitre (triceps) is questionable and so is tight end Levine Toilolo (knee). Julio Jones is not on the team’s injury report but has dealt with ankle and thumb injuries all week, while center Alex Mack suffered a calf injury on Wednesday that caused him to miss Thursday’s practice, but should play.

OUR PREDICTION: There’s a lot of offensive firepower on both sides of the ball in this game but these two teams tend to struggle for points when they play each other. The under is 7-1-1 in the last nine meetings between these two teams. It is also 9-3-1 in the Panthers’ last 13 games after allowing more than 350 total yards in their previous game and is 5-2-1 in their last eight divisional contests.

On the other side, the under is a perfect 4-0 in the Falcons’ last four games because the team has once again gone into an offensive fog. Plus, Atlanta’s defense is playing its best football of the year. The under is 5-1 in the Falcons’ last six home games, is 4-0 in their last four conference games, and is 7-1 in their last eight games after scoring less than 15 points in their previous game.
