Buffalo Bills Betting Trends

The Bills are a perfect 4-0 against the spread in their last four games, are 7-3-1 against the number in their last 11 games played in fieldturf, and have covered in four straight games after covering the week before. That said, they’re just 1-4 at the betting window in their last five games versus an opponent that owns a losing record at home.

The Bengals are 2-5 against the spread in their last seven home games, are 2-7-1 at the betting window in their last 10 games versus an opponent with a winning record, and are 1-4-1 against the number in their last six games coming off a win. OUR PREDICTION: This game screams “trap” but I’ll bite anyway. I just don’t think the Bengals are that good and the Bills’ defense is legit. Sean McDermott has done a fantastic job cleaning up the mess that Rex Ryan left for him this offseason. Above all else, McDermott has simplified the defense so that his players are free to play fast and aggressive, as opposed to Ryan, who complicated things despite being a fantastic defensive mind. Last week in Atlanta, the Bills harassed Matt Ryan into multiple turnovers and despite receiving little from their offense, was able to hold on to victory. Buffalo’s defense, coupled with a strong performance from LeSean McCoy, should lead to victory today in Cincinnati (or at the very least, a push).
