NFL Receiving Yards Prediction
Will either Antonio Brown or Julio Jones lead the NFL in receiving yards in 2017?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Brown and Jones are 4/1, respectively, to lead the NFL in receiving this upcoming season. Odell Beckham, meanwhile, is 13/2, followed by T.Y. Hilton is 10/1. A.J. Green and Mike Evans are 15/1, respectively, while Amari Cooper is 20/1.
Continuning with the odds, Michael Thomas is 22/1, Dez Bryant is 25/1, while Brandin Cooks, DeAndre Hopkins and Jordy Nelson are 30/1, respectively. Allen Robinson, Demaryius Thomas, Doug Baldwin, and Golden Tate are 40/1 long shots, respectively. Other long shots include Emmanuel Sanders, Jarvis Landry and Travis Kelce at 50/1, respectively.
Before handing out a prediction, here are some deep long shots to lead the league in receiving. Alshon Jeffery, newly of the Eagles, is 60/1, as is new Redskins wideout Terrelle Pyor. Sammy Watkins of the Bills is 65/1, followed by Panthers tight end Greg Olsen and Raiders receiver Michael Crabtree, who are 85/1, respectively.

NFL Receiving Yards Prediction: Even though he’s one of the co-favorites to win this prop bet, I love Jones to lead the league in receiving. Yes, the Falcons lost offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan this offseason. But Jones, Matt Ryan, Devonta Freeman, Mohamed Sanu and Taylor Gabriel all return to an offense that has too much talent to take a significant step back. Out of every receiver listed for this prop bet, Jones is the one I could see eclipsing the 1,500-yard mark in 2017. He just needs to stay healthy, which has been an issue for him in the past.
