NFL Passing Yards Leader Prediction
Will Saints quarterback Drew Brees lead the league in passing this upcoming NFL season?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, Brees is a 3/1 favorite to lead the NFL in passing yards in 2017. Tom Brady has the next-best odds at 6/1, followed by Aaron Rodgers, Derek Carr and Matt Ryan, who are all 10/1, respectively. Andrew Luck, Kirk Cousins and Matthew Stafford are all 15/1, respectively.
Before making a prediction for this prop bet, let’s continue to look at the odds. NFL Passing Yards Leader Prediction: I’m not taking the easy way out by choosing the favorite…Brees still offers great value at 3/1 despite being the favorite. He’s the only quarterback in the league that could throw for over 5,000 yards. Brady and Roethlisberger would be my next choices, followed by Ryan, who is surrounded by some of the best weapons in the league.
If you’re looking for a true long shot, Cousins is a sneaky play at 15/1. Washington lost DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon in free agency but still have a quality stable of receivers thanks to free agent addition Terrelle Pryor, as well as 2016 and 2015 draft selections Josh Doctson and Jamison Crowder. The Redskins will put the ball in the air plenty in 2017.
