OUR PREDICTION: Honestly, there’s no reason to back a struggling Ravens team that has been exposed the past two weeks for what it is: An average team with a good but not great defense and a punchless offense. Still, I have a feeling about Baltimore. The Raiders lost starting quarterback Derek Carr to a back injury and E.J. Manuel is starting in his place today. Manuel would be fine to step in and manage the game if Oakland’s offense were rolling right now, but that isn’t the case. Amari Cooper has been plagued by drops, Michael Crabtree is banged up, and despite adding “Beast Mode” Marshawn Lynch to its backfield, the Raiders are gaining just 86.2 yards per game on the ground (24th in the league). Yes, Baltimore has problems offensively, but so does Oakland. And I’ll take the better defense with the points.
