Giants vs. Browns Preseason Pick
Will the Browns pull off a small upset tonight against the Giants when the teams meet in Cleveland at 8:00PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Browns are now 1-point home underdogs versus the Giants after opening as a 1.5-point favorite. As for the total, the number hit the board at 39.5 but has been bet down to 39.
Bet Giants vs. Browns Preseason Matchup
NEW YORK GIANTS: The Giants lost their preseason opener to the Steelers last Friday night, losing 20-12 at home. Eli Manning did not play in that game, as Geno Smith saw extensive action while completing 10-of-16 passes for 114 yards with an interception. Oreleans Darkwa led the Giants in rushing with 18 yards on three carries.
CLEVELAND BROWNS: While the Giants suffered defeat in their preseason opener, the Browns won. In their 20-14 victory over the Saints in Cleveland, DeShone Kizer completed 11-of-18 passes for 184 yards and a touchdown. No. 1 overall pick Myles Garrett also impressed, finishing with a tackle for loss and creating some havoc as a pass-rusher.

OUR PREDICTION: After they were held out last week, Manning, Odell Beckham Jr., Jason Pierre-Paul and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie should all play tonight. That said, how long they play is up in the air. If they only play a series or two, that will favor a Browns squad that is younger and thus, more motivated in preseason play. The big matchup could be Ereck Flowers versus Garrett. Flowers has reportedly struggled in practice and if he can’t hang with Garrett, the Giants could be forced to shuffle their offensive line to protect Eli. I see some value in Cleveland tonight.
