Patriots vs. Jets NFL Week 10 Odds
EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ (The Spread) – In what may turn out to be the best game of Week 10, the Jets will host the Patriots on Sunday Night Football with first place on the line in the AFC East.
NEW ENGLAND: Suddenly there’s a little panic in Foxboro. After soundly beating the Raiders, Jets and Cowboys to get to 5-1 on the season, the Patriots have now lost two straight. Their latest defeat came at home against the Giants, who defeated New England 24-20 as a 9-point underdog. That dropped the Patriots record to 5-3 and placed them into a three-way tie with the Bills and the Jets in the AFC East. Tom Brady (2,703) and New England have now failed to cover in three-straight games.
NEW YORK: While the Patriots are stumbling the Jets are surging. They ended their three-game losing streak with a 24-6 win over the Dolphins on Monday Night Football and then followed that performance with a 27-21 upset of the Chargers in Week 8. Then their defense really got going in a 27-11 win over the Bills, who couldn’t do anything offensively. The Jets are 3-0 in their last three games and have covered the spread easily in all three victories. They’re 5-3 overall and 4-4 against the spread as Darrelle Revis (4 INTs) and Co. continue to dominate defensively.
