Vikings vs. Falcons Week 12 Odds
ATLANA, GA (The Spread) – If the Falcons want to keep pace with the Saints in the NFC South, they can’t lose to the lowly Vikings this Sunday at home.
MINNESOTA: Christian Ponder nearly led the Vikings to a come-from-behind win against the Raiders, but his three interceptions allowed Oakland to prevail, 27-21. The loss dropped Minnesota’s record to 2-8 on the year and 4-5-1 against the spread. What’s worse is that star running back Adrian Peterson suffered an ankle injury and he’s questionable for Sunday’s game against the Falcons, even though he says he’ll play.
ATLANTA: The Falcons bounced back from their 26-23 loss to the Saints in overtime with a sound 23-17 victory over the Titans in Week 11. They nearly allowed rookie Jake Locker to bring Tennessee back from a 20-3 deficit but Atlanta eventually hung on for the win. The victory improved the Falcons’ record to 6-4 but they’re now just 4-6 against the number this season. Matt Ryan threw for over 300 yards and a touchdown in the win while Roddy White had his finest performance of the season, hauling in seven passes for 147 yards.
