What are the odds the Panthers go 19-0?
Through 13 games, the Carolina Panthers remain unscathed and quarterback Cam Newton is a legitimate MVP candidate. But what are the odds that they go 19-0?
Oddsmakers from online sportsbook Mybookie.ag currently list the Panthers’ odds to go 19-0 this season at +450. That means Carolina would have to knock off the Giants, Falcons and Buccaneers to finish out the regular season, plus win every game in the postseason, including the Super Bowl. That’s a significant challenge.
Mybookie.ag also lists the Panthers’ odds to go 16-0 at +135. They’re currently 5-point road favorites this Sunday to beat the Giants, who will be coming off a short week of rest and preparation. Then Carolina travels to Atlanta to take on the Falcons, whom they just crusted 38-0 in Week 14. Finally, the Panthers wrap up their regular season against a Bucs team that won’t have anything on the line.
The Panthers are also 4/1 to win the 2016 Super Bowl and +150 to win the NFC Conference Championship this season. They’re closing in on earning homefield advantage throughout the entire postseason.
