Vikings vs. Cardinals Pick
Two seemingly playoff-bound NFC teams meet up tonight when the Arizona Cardinals host the Minnesota Vikings at 8:25PM ET.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Cardinals are favored at home tonight, as they are getting odds of -9.5 points against the Vikings. The over/under total for the game has been set at 46 points.
Arizona is 10-2 on the season, 4-1 at home and 7-5 against the spread. Minnesota is 8-4 overall, 4-2 on the road and 9-3 against the spread. Minnesota has won five of its last six against Arizona, but the Cardinals are 4-2-1 against the spread in the last seven in this series. Arizona is 8-4 with the over while Minnesota is 9-2-1 with the under this season.
Arizona leads the league in total yards per game and points per game. Adrian Peterson has 1,182 rushing yards but had just eight carries last week, but expect more carries tonight. The Vikings have allowed at least 30 points in two of their last three games. Sure, Minnesota should play better after getting embarrassed at home. However, they are without four defensive starters. That includes DT Linval Joseph, who helps stop the run. With the way RB David Johnson is running the ball, the Vikes will struggle to stop the run and the pass.
