Meanwhile, the victims of the Patriots’ historic Super Bowl comeback, the Falcons, will open their season on the road. They’ll travel to Chicago on Sunday to take on the Bears at 1:00PM ET. After opening as a 6.5-point favorite, Atlanta is now -7 to beat Chicago. The Falcons are just 2-6 against the spread in the last eight meetings with the Bears.

The Seahawks are 2-6-2 against the spread in their last 10 games against the Packers and are 0-4-1 against the number in their last five trips to Lambeau Field.
NFC East rivals clash on Sunday Night
The Sunday Night Football matchup for Week 1 is a good one, as the Cowboys will host the Giants at 8:30PM ET. New York is a 3.5-point road underdog to upset Dallas, which opened as a 5.5-point favorite. The total, meanwhile, sits at 47.5 points. The Giants are a perfect 5-0 against the spread in their last five games against the Cowboys.
Monday Night Double Header
The Vikings are a 3.5-point home favorite to beat the Saints in the first game of Monday night’s double-header. The total for that game sits at 48 points. In the second game, the Broncos are now a 3.5-point favorite to beat the Chargers at 10:20PM ET after opening as a 4.5-point favorite. The Bolts are 8-2-4 against the spread in their last 14 games in Denver.
