NFL Week 10 Predictions: Los Angeles Rams vs. New York Jets 11/13/16

Rams vs. Jets Prediction

Is the under a good play for bettors on Sunday when the Jets host the Rams at 1:00PM ET?

According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Jets are 2-point home favorites versus the Rams after opening as a 2.5-point favorite earlier in the week. As for the total, the number has been bet down from 41 to 40, which is where it currently sits now.

LOS ANGELES KEY TRENDS: The Rams are 0-3-1 against the spread in their last four games after pushing as a 3-point home underdog last Sunday versus the Panthers. They’re also just 0-3-2 at the betting window in their last five games in November and are 2-6-2 against the number in their last 10 games following a loss. For one reason or another they’ve fared well in Week 10, covering in five of their last seven games played on this week in the season.

NEW YORK KEY TRENDS: The Jets are just 2-5 against the spread in their last seven games overall and are a brutal 8-20 at the betting window in their last 28 games played in the month of November. They haven’t been a good team to back coming off losses either, going 3-7 against the spread in their last 10 games following a defeat. They lost last week to the Dolphins in Miami and failed to cover as a 3.5-point road underdog.

OUR PREDICTION: Neither of these teams are going to score much today. Jeff Fisher insists on sticking with Case Keenum at quarterback instead of giving No. 1 overall pick Jared Goff an opportunity, and the Rams’ offensive line is so bad that it has rendered the team’s one good offensive weapon (Todd Gurley) ineffective. The under is 20-8 in the Rams’ last 28 games overall and is 40-19-1 in their last 60 road games. Their defense remains a solid unit, but their offense remains behind the times thanks to Fisher.
