Cardinals vs. Vikings Prediction
Will the Vikings finally snap their four-game losing streak when they host the Cardinals today at 1:00PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Vikings are now 2.5-point home favorites over the Cardinals after the game opened as a pick’em earlier in the week. As for the total, the number posted at 41 but has been bet down to 40 at most online and Vegas sports books.
The Cardinals have failed to cover the spread in three straight games. They beat the 49ers 23-20 last Sunday at home but didn’t come close to cover as a 13.5-point favorite. Their other failed covers came in a 6-6 tie as a 2.5-point home favorite versus the Seahawks three weeks ago and in a 30-20 loss to the Panthers as a 2.5-point underdog.
After covering the spread in five straight games to start the year, the Vikings have failed to cover in four consecutive weeks. Their last defeat came in Washington when the Minnesota fell 26-20 as a 2.5-point underdog to the Redskins. They also failed to cover as a 3-point favorite at Philadelphia, as a 4.5-point favorite at Chicago, and as a 4.5-point home favorite versus Detroit.

OUR PREDICTION: Sam Bradford has been solid at home this season, throwing six touchdown passes without an interception while racking up a 111.3 passer rating in those four games. The Cardinals, meanwhile, continue to lean on David Johnson, who was limited to just 55 yards on 19 carries last week by San Francisco. If Minnesota can shut down Johnson the Vikings should put up enough points to win by a field goal.
