CLEVELAND: The Browns will be well rested coming off their bye. They fell to the Ravens 25-15 as a 3.5-point home favorite in Week 9 but are 2-2 over their last four games. They’ve also covered the spread in two of their last four games, but they’re still 2-7 overall and 4-4-1 against the number this season. The under has also hit in six of their first nine games as rookies Brandon Weeden and Trent Richardson continue to suffer growing pains in their first years. The team will likely go through another major makeover next offseason as team president Mike Holmgren will be stepping down.
DALLAS: The Cowboys snapped a two-game losing streak with a 38-23 victory versus the Eagles last Sunday in Philadelphia. They covered the spread as a 1-point road favorite and have now covered in three of their last five games (although they hadn’t covered in their previous two losses before their win in Philadelphia). At 4-5 and with the 6-4 Giants currently struggling, Dallas can still make a run at first place in the NFC East. Whether or not they’ll continue to shoot themselves in the foot is the question, but this team certainly has enough talent to compete every week.
ODDS: Oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv have installed the Cowboys as 8-point favorites over the Browns, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 43.5 points. Cleveland is 2-7 overall and 0-4 on the road, while Dallas is 4-5 overall and 1-2 at home.
TRENDS: The Browns are 5-1-1 against the spread in their last seven games in Week 11 and 5-2-1 ATS in their last eight road games overall. The Cowboys are also 0-6 against the spread in their last six home games and 5-11 ATS in their last 16 games overall.
