Jaguars vs. Browns Week 11 Odds
CLEVELAND, OH (The Spread) – In a game only a bettor could love, the Browns find themselves as a small home underdog when they host the Jaguars on Sunday.
JACKSONVILLE: Thanks in large part to the play of their defense, the Jaguars have now won two of their last three games. Their latest victory came in a 17-3 win over the hapless Colts and improved Jacksonville’s record to 3-6 on the year. The Jags have now covered in three of their last four games, with one pushing coming in a 24-14 loss to the Texans in Week 8. Blaine Gabbert (1,025 yards) continues to struggle in his first year but Jacksonville’s defense has kept the Jags in most games.
CLEVELAND: Just when Browns fans thought it couldn’t get any worse, their team blows a chip-shot field goal because the center snapped the ball into the leg of one of his other lineman. Instead of beating the Rams 15-13, the Browns lost 13-12 and dropped to 3-6 on the year. They’re now 1-6-2 against the number and haven’t covered a game since their 27-19 victory over the Colts in Week 2 of the season.
ODDS: Oddsmakers have installed the Browns as a 1-point favorite over the Jaguars, while the over/under total for this game is currently sitting at 34.5 points. Jacksonville comes into this week with a 3-6 record overall and is 1-4 on the road, while Cleveland is 3-6 overall and 2-3 at home.
TRENDS: The over is 3-1-1 in the last five meetings between these two teams while the road squad is 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings. The Browns are 1-4 ATS in their last five games as a home underdog and 0-7 ATS in their lat seven games as an underdog. The Jaguars are 4-0 against the spread in their last four games in November and 6-1 ATS in their last seven games as a favorite.
