Seahawks vs. Vikings Betting Preview
One of the best matchups on the Week 13 NFL schedule will take place in Minnesota, where the Vikings will host Thomas Rawls and the Seahawks at 1:00PM ET.
The Vikings opened as 1-point home dogs but according to oddsmakers from online sports book Mybookie.ag, the Seahawks are now 2-point road favorites for today’s game. As for the total, the number opened at 42 and that’s where the over/under currently sits.
Despite Minnesota’s 8-3 record, 61% of public bettors are currently backing Seattle -2. The Seahawks are 6-5 straight up and 4-6-1 against the spread this season, while the Vikings have covered in nine of their 11 games in 2015.
The key matchup today will be Adrian Peterson versus a Seattle run defense that is allowing just 92.9 yards per game this season. Peterson rushed 29 times for 158 yards and two touchdowns in the Vikings’ win over the Falcons on Sunday.
The Seahawks will be without tight end Jimmy Graham, who was placed on injured reserve after injuring his knee in a win last Sunday over the Steelers. As for the Vikings, free safety Harrison Smith is expected to play after being held out last weekend in Atlanta. Linval Joseph, however, has been ruled out for today’s game with a foot injury.
