ODDS: According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the over/under currently sits at 43.5 points after hitting the board at 44. The Jets, meanwhile, are 3-point home underdogs to beat the Chiefs, who opened as a 4-point favorite.

PUBLIC BETTING: As of this writing, just under 60% of public bettors are backing the Chiefs at the betting window.

INJURY REPORT: Pass rusher Dee Ford is questionable for the Chiefs with a back injury while Jets running back Matt Forte is probable with a knee injury. New York defensive lineman Steve McLendon is also questionable with a lower body injury.

OUR PREDICTION: The Chiefs offense is in a massive funk. After scoring 29 points against Denver at the end of October, Kansas City has scored 17, 9 and 10 points over its last three games. The Chiefs even had a bye week mixed in, so there’s no excuse for Andy Reid’s offense to be bogged down like this. But it is, and under bettors have cashed in the past three KC games.

The under is 13-3 in the Chiefs’ last 16 games after accumulating less than 250 total yards in their previous game and is 22-7 in their last 29 games after accumulating less than 90 yards rushing in their previous game. On the other side, the under is 6-1 in the Jets’ last seven games after allowing more than 30 points in their previous contest.
