Will the Broncos pull off the small upset today in Nashville when they visit the Titans at 1:00PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Titans are 1.5-point home favorites versus the Broncos while the over/under currently sits at 43.5 points. After Tennessee dropped down to a 1-point favorite earlier in the week, both the side and the total are back to the original numbers posted by oddsmakers.
BRONCOS KEY TRENDS: The Broncos have covered the spread in six of their last eight road games and have been an excellent play in December, going 13-5 against the number in their last 18 games played in the month. They’re also 10-4-1 against the spread in their last 15 games overall and are 10-1 at the betting window in their last 11 games after accumulating less than 150 yards passing in their previous game.
TITANS KEY TRENDS: The Titans are just 16-34-3 against the spread in their last 53 home games and are 17-38-2 at the betting window in their last 57 games played in the month of December. They have also been a poor bet coming off the bye, going 1-5 against the spread in their last six games following an off week. They’re just 12-35-4 against the number in their last 51 games versus AFC opponents as well.

OUR PREDICTION: The Titans have one key advantage against the Broncos today: Their dominant running game versus Denver’s leaky run defense. That said, that isn’t enough to get me to back Tennessee today as a slight home favorite. The majority of the Broncos’ roster has been in these pressure-packed games before, with everything on the line in the month of December. The Titans are used to playing out the string at this time of year. Tennessee will pick up its yards today on the ground but I don’t trust the Titans defense, even against an average Denver offense. The Broncos are 5-0 against the spread in their last five games versus the Titans and I like for them to make it 6-0 by the end of the day.
