Mid-Week NFL Line Movement Report
Here’s a look at the biggest mid-week line movements for Week 14 in the NFL, starting with the Bills-Eagles matchup in Philadelphia on Sunday.
Bills at Eagles, 1:00PM ET, Sunday
After beating the Patriots outright as a 7.5-point road underdog in Week 13, the Eagles opened as a 2-point favorite versus the Bills in Week 14. But according to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the point spread for this game has jumped the fence. Now Buffalo is a 1.5-point road favorite with 67% of public betting action on the Bills. There must also be some sharp money at play in this game for the line to move that much.
Giants at Dolphins, 8:30PM ET, Monday
The Monday Night Football matchup has also seen its point spread jump the fence this week. The Dolphins opened as 2-point home favorites versus the struggling Giants but New York is now a 1.5-point favorite. Despite losing three straight games, the Giants are still in the mix to win the NFC East because the division is so bad this season. New York hasn’t covered a spread in two straight weeks after nearly upsetting New England on November 15.
Vikings at Cardinals, 8:25PM ET, Sunday
The Thursday Night Football game has seen the Cardinals go from 7.5-point favorites up to -8 against the Vikings. Minnesota will come into this game banged up on defense, as nose tackle Linval Joseph (foot), free safety Harrison Smith (hamstring), and outside linebacker Anthony Barr (groin) have all been ruled out for the Thursday night. Good look to the rest of the Vikings as they try to slow down the Cardinals’ No. 1-ranked offense.
