Texans vs. Colts Pick
The Colts racked up plenty of points in their previous game but is the under the best play when they host the Texans this Sunday?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Colts are 6-point home favorites versus the Texans while the over/under currently sits at 47 points. While the total hasn’t moved off the number 47, the point spread has gone from Indianapolis -6.5 down to Colts -6.
The Texans are in the midst of a losing streak that could wind up costing them the AFC South crown if they don’t pull out of it in a hurry. They’ve lost three consecutive games to fall to 6-6 on the year and haven’t covered a point spread in three straight weeks either (5-6-1 ATS in 2016). They have really struggled on the road this season, going 1-5 straight up away from Houston and 1-5 against the spread in those games.
The Colts have been inconsistent all season but have turned things around of late, winning three of their last four games. Their only loss in their last four came when Andrew Luck missed the Thanksgiving night matchup against the Steelers due to a concussion. Indy is now 6-6 on the year and 6-5-1 against the spread in 2016. They could jump into first place in the AFC South with a win on Sunday.

OUR PREDICTION: The under has been a great play in this matchup, going a perfect 7-0 in the last seven meetings between these two teams in Indianapolis. The under is also 4-1 in the Colts’ last five home games, is 4-1 in their last five games after scoring more than 30 points in their previous game, and is 13-4 in their last 17 games in December. On the other side, the under is 9-3 in the Texans’ last 12 games in December and has cashed in six of eight games coming off a loss.
