NFL Week 15 Best Bets: Will Bills pull off the upset in Detroit?

Ravens vs. Bills Same Game Parlay Ravens vs. Bills Same Game Parlay

Will the Bills pull off the upset in Detroit following their loss to the Rams? Will the Dolphins take down the Texans? Check out our NFL Week 15 Best Bets.

NFL Week 14 Best Bets

My NFL Best Bets for Week 14 were the Bills -3.5 over the Rams, the Jaguars-Titans over 40, the under 44.5 in the Seahawks-Cardinals matchup and the Chargers +165 over the Chiefs.

None of the plays hit. That’s a joke. A total joke of a performance by me in Week 14. Let me try to make it up to you.

NFL Week 15 Best Bet: Miami Dolphins +130, 1:00 p.m. ET

I don’t know how good the Texans are this season. I mean, obviously they’re a good team, but how good? They lost to the Titans in Week 12 as an 8-point favorite. They allowed the Jaguars to push as a 3-point underdog in Week 13. They did blow out the banged-up Cowboys and hung with the Lions in Week 10, but they also crumbled versus Detroit.

The Dolphins’ playoff hopes are fleeting, but they stayed alive with a 32-26 overtime with over the Jets last week. Miami will need a much better effort out of its defense this week after it allowed Aaron Rodgers to move the ball at will against them last week. That said, Tua and Co. will be a hassle versus for a Houston defense that has been suspect at times as well.

With limited value as a 2.5-point dog, give me the Dolphins outright.

NFL Week 15 Best Bets: Cleveland Browns +4, 1:00 p.m. ET

I have resisted betting against the Chiefs this season but I jumped on board last week with the Chargers and will follow suit again today with the Browns. Los Angeles didn’t win the game outright, but did cover as a 3.5-point underdog. The Chiefs haven’t covered the spread in a game since their 28-18 win in San Francisco over the 49ers in Week 7. That’s a span of seven consecutive games without an ATS win.

Thanks to Jameis Winston, the Browns are guaranteed to be entertaining. I could see Winston leading the Browns to an upset win like he did versus the Ravens in his first start this season. I could also see him throwing six interceptions and Cleveland being blown out. That said, the Chiefs don’t cover. They’re not protecting Patrick Mahomes, they have no vertical game and the Browns are still competing thanks to Winston.

NFL Week 15 Best Bets: Pittsburgh Steelers +5.5, 4:25 p.m. ET

Mike Tomlin as a home dog. Enough said.

Okay, I’ll add more. The Eagles feel combustible. Perhaps the Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown stuff is overblown, but there’s something there. The Eagles have overcome whatever friction exists between the two players, but they barely got by the Panthers last week. Their passing game also isn’t right and now they’ll face a Pittsburgh defense that is one of the best in the league. Russell Wilson is also a confident quarterback and has breathed new life into Arthur Smith’s offense.

Oh, and Mike Tomlin is an underdog.

NFL Week 15 NFL Best Bets: Buffalo Bills +118, 4:25 p.m. ET

The Bills burned me last week but the Rams played a near-perfect game offensively and Buffalo still almost won the game in the end. This is also a tough spot for the Lions. They’re coming off a narrow win against the Packers and while they’re home, they’ve been walking a tight rope for weeks now. I like backing good teams coming off a loss, especially when they’re either getting plus odds or points. I see the Bills playing with a ton of urgency today in Detroit, especially with an opportunity to still earn the No. 1 seed in the AFC.
