Broncos vs. Ravens Week 15 Odds
BALTIMORE, MD (The Spread) – In a battle of AFC division leaders, the Ravens will host the Broncos on Sunday at 1:00PM ET.
DENVER: The Broncos won their eighth straight game last Thursday with a 26-13 victory over the Raiders in Oakland. Peyton Manning continued his MVP-like season by completing 26-of-36 passes for 310 yards with one touchdown and one interception, while Knowshon Moreno rushed 32 times for 119 yards and one score. Eric Decker also added eight receptions for 88 yards and Demariyus Thomas caught five passes for 83 yards. The win improved Denver’s record to 10-3 and 7-6 against the spread as it covered as a 10-point road favorite. Over these next three weeks the Broncos will try to secure one of the top two seeds in the AFC playoffs.
BALTIMORE: The Ravens have now lost in back-to-back games for the first time all year after they were beaten 31-28 by the Redskins last Sunday. Baltimore’s defense allowed a late Pierre Garcon touchdown from Kirk Cousins and then lost on a Kai Forbath 34-yard field goal in overtime (which was set up by a long punt return by Richard Crawford). In the loss, Joe Flacco completed 16-of-21 passes for 182 yards with three touchdowns and one interception, while Ray Rice rushed for 121 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries. The loss dropped Baltimore’s record to 9-4 and 5-7-1 against the spread as the Ravens have failed to cover in back-to-back games. They still maintain a two-game lead over both the Steelers and Bengals in the AFC North, however.
ODDS: According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Broncos are 3-point favorites over the Ravens, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 48 points. Denver is 10-3 overall and 5-2 on the road, while Baltimore is 9-4 and 5-1 at home.
TRENDS: The home team is 5-1 against the spread in the last six meetings between these two teams, while the favorite is 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings and the under is 4-1 in the last five meetings overall. The Broncos are also 1-7-1 against the spread in their last nine games versus the Ravens and 0-5 ATS in their last five trips to Baltimore.
