SEATTLE: The Seahawks absolutely humiliated the Cardinals 58-0 last Sunday to pick up their second straight win and their fourth victory in their last five games. Russell Wilson completed just 7-of-13 passes for 148 yards with one touchdown and one interception, while Marshawn Lynch rushed for 128 yards on 11 carries and three touchdowns. Robert Turbin has rushed 20 times for 108 yards and Anthony McCoy caught three passes for 105 yards. The victory improved Seattle’s record to 8-5 overall and 9-4 against the spread after covering in back-to-back games. If the playoffs were to start today, the Seahawks would own the fifth seed in the NFC.
BUFFALO: The Bills lost for the second time in their last three games when they fell 15-12 to the Rams last Sunday. Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 25-of-33 passes for 247 yards with one touchdown and one interception, while C.J. Spiller rushed seven times for 37 yards and Stevie Johnson caught six passes for 71 yards. The loss dropped Buffalo to 5-8 overall and 6-7 against the spread after failing to cover as a 3-point home favorite. The Bills aren’t mathematically out of the playoffs but chances are incredibly slim after losing last week.
ODDS: According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Seahawks versus 5.5-point favorites versus the Bills, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 43.5 points. Seattle is 8-5 overall and 2-5 on the road, while Buffalo is 5-8 overall and 3-3 at home.
TRENDS: The over is 7-0 in the last seven meetings between these two teams while the underdog is 5-2 against the spread in the last seven meetings. The Seahawks are also 0-4 against the number in their last four games versus the Bills.
