GREEN BAY: The Packers took control of the NFC North with a 27-20 win over the Lions last week. They now hold a 1-game lead on Chicago in the division and own a 23-10 win over the Bears already this season. The Packers have now won seven of their last eight games coming into this contest. In last week’s win, Green Bay didn’t have much offense to note, racking up just 288 yards. Aaron Rodgers threw for 173 yards on 14 of 24 passing while rushing for 32 yards and a touchdown. The Packers were aided by a defensive touchdown and two turnovers to get the victory. For being a notable offense, Green Bay has been held to 27 points or less in their last four games.
CHICAGO: The Bears are coming off a 21-14 loss to the Vikings on the road last Sunday. Chicago has now dropped four of their last five games to fall out of the NFC North lead, and put themselves in danger of falling out of the playoffs entirely. In the loss to Minnesota, the Bears outgained the Vikings 438-248 in total yards, but the Bears still couldn’t complete drives. Defensively, the Bears missed the loss of Brian Urlacher at linebacker as Adrian Peterson rushed for 154 yards and two touchdowns. On offense, Brandon Marshall continued his strong play, catching 10 passes for 160 yards and a touchdown. Marshall now has 101 catches for 1,342 yards and 9 touchdowns on the season.
ODDS: According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Packers are 3-point favorites versus the Bears, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 43 points. Green Bay is 9-4 on the season, 3-3 on the road and 7-6 against the spread. Chicago is 8-5 overall, 5-2 at home and 6-7 against the spread.
