Ravens vs. Eagles Week 2 Odds
PHILADELPHIA, PA (The Spread) – Two teams that were victorious in Week 1 will square off in Philadelphia this Sunday when the Eagles host the Ravens at 1:00PM ET.
BALTIMORE: The Ravens were impressive on Monday night, scoring 44 points in route to a 44-13 victory over the Bengals in Baltimore. Joe Flacco completed 21-of-29 passes for 299 yards and two touchdowns, while Ray Rice added 68 yards on 10 carries and two rushing scores. Baltimore covered easily as a 9-point favorite while the combined score soared over the posted total of 41.5.
PHILADELPHIA: The Eagles escaped Cleveland with a 17-16 victory but it wasn’t easy. Michael Vick threw four interceptions but led the game-winning touchdown drive in the fourth quarter. LeSean McCoy carried the ball 20 times for 110 yards and Jeremy Maclin caught seven passes for 96 yards and a score. Philadelphia failed to cover as a 9-point favorite while the combined score fell under the posted total of 42 points.
ODDS: The Ravens opened as 1-point road dogs against the Eagles and that’s where the line currently sits despite 93% of the betting public favoring Baltimore. The total for this game is 45.5.
TRENDS: The Eagles are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games overall but 1-5 ATS in their last six games in Week 2. The Ravens are also 6-1-1 against the spread versus a team with a winning record and 10-3 ATS in their last 13 games in September.
