MINNESOTA: The Vikings are 2-0 both straight up and against the spread after beating the Packers 17-14 as a 1.5-point home underdog last Sunday night. Sam Bradford played a tremendous game, especially considering he only had a few weeks to learn Norv Turner’s offense after being acquired by Philadelphia following the Teddy Bridgewater injury. Bradford was 22-of-31 for 286 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions, connecting with Stefon Diggs nine times for 182 yards and a score.
CAROLINA: The Panthers are 1-1 now after beating the 49ers 46-27 as a 12-point home favorite last Sunday. Cam Newton had an enormous game, completing 24 of 40 passes for 353 yards with four touchdowns and one interception. Receiver Kelvin Benjamin (seven catches, 108 yards, two touchdowns) and tight end Greg Olsen (five catches, 122 yards, 1 touchdown) both had big games as well. The team did lose Jonathan Stewart to a hamstring injury, so the victory came with a price.
