49ers vs. Seahawks Prediction

Will the Seahawks cover this afternoon against the 49ers as a double-digit favorite when the two teams square off at 4:05PM ET?

According to oddsmakers from online sports book, BetDSI, the Seahawks are 10-point home favorites versus the Niners while the over/under currently sits at 41 points. While the point spread hasn’t moved off the original number, the total has gone from 40.5 up to 41.

The 49ers are 1-5 against the spread in their last six road games and are 1-4 against the number in their last five games after allowing more than 30 points in their previous game. They’re 1-7-1 at the betting window in their last nine games after allowing more than 350 total yards in their previous contest as well.

The Seahawks are just 1-4 against the spread in their last five games versus NFC opponents and are 0-4 against the number in their last four games overall. That said, they’re a perfect 6-0 at the betting window in their last six games in Week 3 and are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games following a loss.

OUR PREDICTION: The favorite is 3-1-1 against the spread in the last five meetings between these two teams, while the Niners have been a horrible play in this series. San Francisco is winless at 0-8-1 against the spread in its last nine games against Seattle and is 0-4-1 against the number in its last five games in Seattle. While the Seahawks’ offensive line has been a problem, Russell Wilson said his ankle has felt much better this week and if he’s more mobile, he should be able to move the offense more efficiency this week than in his previous two games.
