NFL Week 4 Injury Report: Carlos Hyde, Michael Crabtree questionable

Week 4 Injury Report

Some big names may not be able to suit up in Week 4 of the NFL Weekend. Here’s a closer look at the Injury Report heading into today.

One of the bigger names battling an injury is Carlos Hyde of the San Francisco 49ers. Hyde is being listed as a game-time decision for today’s 4:05PM ET game with the Arizona Cardinals in Glendale. Hyde is dealing with a hip injury that he suffered last week. He has been one of the top rushers in the league through three games, posting 253 yards on 49 carries with two touchdowns. If Hyde is unable to go, Matt Breida will take his spot. Breida has rushed for 55 yards on 11 carries this season. Oddsmakers currently listed the 49ers as a 6.5-point underdog against the Cardinals. The over/under total is listed at 44.5 points.

Another big name that is listed as questionable is Oakland receiver Michael Crabtree. Crabtree suffered a chest injury in last week’s loss to Washington and he is also a game-time decision to play today against the Broncos in Denver at 4:25PM ET. Crabtree has 13 catches this season for 170 yards and three touchdowns. He has been a key piece to the Oakland offense these last two seasons, racking up over 1,000 yards a year ago. Oddsmakers currently list the Broncos as a 3-point favorite at home over the Raiders.

Bet on NFL Week 4 Odds

For the third straight week, Sam Bradford is out today for the Minnesota Vikings as they get set to host the Detroit Lions at 1PM ET. Bradford continues to deal with a knee injury that he suffered in Week 1, but he got an MRI this past week that shows it is a bone bruise. With Bradford out again, Case Keenum gets another start. Keenum struggled in his first start against Pittsburgh, going 20 of 37 for 167 yards. However, he bounced back in a big way last week against Tampa, throwing for 369 yards and three touchdowns. Oddsmakers have listed the Vikings as a 2.5-point favorite at home against the Lions today.
