Bet on Giants vs. Vikings

The Vikings are off to a surprising 3-0 start despite a number of big injuries to the team. The Vikings are also 3-0 against the spread and 2-1 with the under. Including the preseason, the Vikings have covered the spread in 12 straight games. The list of injuries for Minnesota this season is impressive, especially from key players. Teddy Bridgewater and Matt Kalil are both out for the season while Adrian Peterson and Sharrif Floyd are both out indefinitely. Minnesota is still great on defense despite the loss of Floyd, as they are allowing just 13.3 points and 333.7 yards per game. They have 15 sacks and nine turnovers created so far in three games. On offense, the team is averaging just 21.3 points and 282 yards per game. The ground game is really struggling, averaging just 51 yards per game. Still, Sam Bradford has played pretty well in his two starts, throwing for 457 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions.

The Giants are coming off a 29-27 loss to the Redskins at home to fall to 2-1 on the season and 1-2 against the spread. The Giants have hit the under in two of three games this season. The Giants are putting up 21 points and 407.3 yards per game on offense. Eli Manning has thrown for 925 yards and four touchdowns to lead the offense, which comes into tonight hurting in the backfield. Shane Vereen is on IR with a tricep injury while Rashad Jennings is doubtful with a thumb injury. That leaves Orleans Darkwa as the back of choice for tonight. He has 52 yards on 11 carries this season. On defense, the Giants are giving up 20.3 points and 349.7 yards per game. They are struggling against the pass, allowing 272.3 yards per game. That could be a bigger problem today as rookie CB Eli Apple is doubtful to play due to a hamstring injury and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie is doubtful with a groin injury. The Giants have struggled to create turnovers thus far, amassing just one fumble in 2016.
