OUR PREDICTION: Both of these teams had to fly cross-country last week and knew they were facing each other this week. Thus, both deserve a small reprieve for losing their respective Week 3 matchups. The question now is: Who will come out on top today? The Raiders have more problems offensively than what appears on the surface. Derek Carr is getting the ball out of his hand in a lightning-quick manner, which sounds good until you think about the big picture. If he’s getting the ball out of his hand fast, then he’s not allowing deeper routes to develop down field. That leads to a lot of dink-and-dunking, which is problematic versus the Broncos. Teams need to exploit matchups against Denver’s linebackers because the Broncos’ secondary is so good. If you can’t do that, you’re not going to beat the Broncos, especially in Denver. Long story short, with Michael Crabtree doubtful and the Raiders playing on the road again, I’ll lay the field goal and take Denver this afternoon.
