After suffering a back injury a few weeks ago, Derek Carr is going to return this week despite the prognosis being he would sit out 2-6 weeks. Carr will return to the starting lineup for the Raiders as they face the Los Angeles Chargers in Oakland today at 4:25PM ET. Oddsmakers list the Raiders as a 3.5-point favorite against the Chargers. Los Angeles is riding a three-game losing streak right now after a 30-17 loss at home to the Ravens last week. Carr has thrown for 753 yards and seven touchdowns with two interceptions this season.

Another player returning from injury this week is Rob Gronkowski. The Patriots tight end was unable to go in Week 5 due to a thigh injury and was limited in practice this week, but is expected to play when the Patriots go on the road to face the New York Jets at 1PM ET. Oddsmakers are listing the Patriots as a 9-point favorite against the Jets today. Gronkowski has 20 receptions for 318 yards and two touchdowns this season. His presence on the field opens up everything as the Pats have scored at least 27 points in all four games he has played in.
