That said, they’re just 1-6 against the spread in their last seven games played in the month of October. As of this writing, 53% of the betting public is backing the 49ers at the betting window.
Washington Redskins: The Redskins are 5-0 against the spread in their last five games following an AS loss, are 5-1 against the number in their last six games coming off a straight up loss, and are 9-3 at the betting window in their last 12 games versus a team with a losing record. Where they have struggled is coming off the bye, where they are just 2-7 ATS in their last nine opportunities.
WHO COVERS: The 49ers are 0-5 but they’ve been competitive. I’m slightly worried about the fact that they’ve played two extra quarters the last two weeks but I also don’t understand why an average Redskins team is laying double-digit points to anyone. The 49ers are 5-1 against the spread in their last six conference games, have covered in five of their last seven games overall, and are 4-1 at the betting window in their last five games following a loss.
