As of this writing, over 70% of public bettors are backing the Patriots at the betting window.
New York Jets: The Jets are 6-1-1 against the spread in their last eight games versus the Patriots and are 4-0 against the number in their last four home games versus New England. The home team is also 4-0-1 at the betting window in the last five meetings between these two teams and the underdog is 6-1-1 against the spread in their last eight games.
WHO COVERS: The Jets are somehow 3-2 and have given the Patriots problems in the past. That said, it’s time for Gang Green to turn back into a pumpkin and for the Pats to boat race an opponent. New England is coming off a few extra days of rest after playing on Thursday night last week and might have ironed out some of its defensive issues in its win over the Bucs. The Jets have been much better than anyone would have expected, but Tom Brady and Co. should light up Todd Bowles’ defense.
