NFL Week 7 Predictions: Bucs vs. Bills betting total set too high? 10/22/17

NFL Week 7 Predictions: Bucs vs. Bills betting total set too high? 10/22/17 NFL Week 7 Predictions: Bucs vs. Bills betting total set too high? 10/22/17

Bucs vs. Bills Prediction

Is the betting total for Sunday’s Bucs and Bills game in Buffalo set too high? Kickoff is set for 1:00PM ET.

Who Oddsmakers Like: Buffalo. According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Bills are 3-point home favorites versus the Bucs, who opened as 3-point underdogs. As for the total, the number hit the board at 44 but has been bet up slightly to 44.5 at the majority of online sports books.

Who the Public Likes: Buffalo. The public loves the Bills, in fact. As of this writing, 77% of tickets are on Buffalo to cover the small spread. Apparently public bettors have had enough of the Bucs and with Jameis Winston banged-up, they see an opportunity to buy low on the Bills.

Who the Trends Like: The favorite…and the home team. The favorite is a perfect 4-0 against the spread in the last four meetings between these two teams and the home team is also 4-0 at the betting window in the last four meetings. The Bucs are also 0-4 against the spread in their last four games overall, while the Bills are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games overall.

Who We Like: The under. The Bills continue to win games in the same manner: Don’t beat yourself with mistakes, play good defense, and force a couple of turnovers to set yourself up offensively. The Bills and Chiefs are the only teams in the NFL yet to allow a giveaway point all season. On the other side, the Bucs haven’t played well defensively but their offense is out of sync as well. With the Winston now dealing with a shoulder injury, this should be a relatively low-scoring game today in Buffalo.

NFL WEEK 7 PREDICTIONS: BUCS/BILLS UNDER 44.5
