NFL Week 7 Predictions: Tennessee Titans vs. Cleveland Browns 10/22/17

NFL Week 7 Predictions: Tennessee Titans vs. Cleveland Browns 10/22/17 NFL Week 7 Predictions: Tennessee Titans vs. Cleveland Browns 10/22/17

Titans vs. Browns Pick

Can the Cleveland Browns find a way to cover at home against the Tennessee Titans when the two teams meet up at 1PM ET?

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Tennessee is favored on the road, as the Titans are getting odds of -5.5 points against the Browns. The over/under total is listed at 45 points. These two have split their last 10 meetings in this series, but the Browns are 2-0-1 against the spread in the last three encounters. The public betting in this one has Tennessee getting 70 percent of the wagers. Today’s games takes place from FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio and will air live on CBS.

Tennessee is coming off a 36-22 win at home over the Colts last week to improve to 3-3 on the season. The Titans are 3-3 against the spread on the year and 1-2 ATS on the road. Tennessee has posted 24.3 points and 342 yards per game on offense this year. Marcus Mariota has thrown for 1,098 yards and four touchdowns with four interceptions. He also has run for 116 yards and three scores. Derrick Henry and DeMarco Murray have combined for 631 rushing yards and four touchdowns. Murray is questionable for Sunday due to a hamstring injury while Delanie Walker is also questionable with a calf injury. He is the second-leading receiver on the team. Defensively, Tennessee is allowing 27.3 points and 346.7 yards per game. The unit has just nine sacks and nine turnovers this year.

Cleveland is coming off a 33-17 loss at Houston last week to fall to 0-6 on the season. The Browns are 1-5 against the spread, failing to cover in their last five games. Cleveland has been a mess on offense this year, averaging just 15.7 points and 324.7 yards per game. After benching DeShone Kizer, he is back to being the starting QB. He has thrown for 851 yards with three touchdowns, but also has nine interceptions and has been sacked 12 times. Isaiah Crowell is the leading rusher with 252 yards while Duke Johnson Jr. has 26 catches for 269 yards and a touchdown. Defensively, the Browns are allowing 26.2 points per game, but giving up just 325 yards per contest. Their run defense is holding opponents to just 84.3 yards per game. Jason McCourty is leading the defense with three interceptions.

Bet on Titans vs. Browns

After a promising debut, Kizer and the Browns have been a mess since facing the Steelers to start the season. Cleveland comes into today just 3-13 ATS in their last 16 home games and 6-25-1 ATS in their last 32 games overall. The Titans are 5-2 against the spread in their last seven trips to Cleveland. I like the Titans run game, with or without Murray, to march all over this Cleveland defense. While the Titans haven’t been great on defense, they should have a step up against Kizer, who is very turnover prone.

NFL WEEK 7 PREDICTION: TENNESSEE TITANS -5.5
