Biggest NFL Week 8 Line Moves
What are the biggest line moves for Sunday’s action in Week 8 of the NFL? Let’s start off in London, where the Lions are taking on the Chiefs.
Lions vs. Chiefs, 9:30AM ET (London)
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Chiefs opened as 6-point favorites over the Lions but the line has been bet down to 3. The favorite is 4-1 against the spread in the last five meetings between these two teams while the Lions are just 1-4 ATS in their last five games versus the Chiefs.
Vikings at Bears, 1:00PM ET
The Vikings opened as a 2.5-point road favorite but the line was eventually bet down to a pick’em and stayed there for most of the week. But the Bears have been 1-point home dogs since Saturday night and that’s where the line sits as of this writing. The Vikings are 1-6 against the spread in their last seven games in Chicago and 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games overall versus the Bears.
Bengals at Steelers, 1:00PM ET
Cincinnati opened as 1.5-point road favorites but once it was official that Ben Roethlisberger would start for the Steelers, the line dropped to a pick’em. Now Pittsburgh is a 1-point home favorite over the undefeated Bengals, who are also 5-0-1 against the spread this year. That said, Cincinnati is just 8-21-1 ATS in its last 30 games versus Pittsburgh and is 1-4 ATS in its last five road games versus the Steelers.
Jets at Raiders, 4:05PM ET
This game opened as a pick’em but the line has moved in favor of the Jets all week. After jumped up to a 2-point favorite and then a 2.5-point fave, New York is now a 3-point road favorite over Oakland, which is 3-3 on the year and 3-3 ATS. The home team is 6-2-1 ATS in the last nine meetings between these two teams.
