New England opened as an 8.5-point favorite but the line has been bought down to either 7.5 or 7, depending on which sports book you view. Game of the Week
The best game on the Week 8 schedule also happens to be the Sunday night matchup, as the undefeated Broncos will host the unbeaten Packers at 8:30PM ET. Denver is currently a 2.5-point home underdog as oddsmakers continue to be unimpressed with quarterback Peyton Manning despite the Broncos’ undefeated record and stout defense. The total has been set at 45 points.
Monday Night Football
Speaking of undefeated teams, the Panthers will put their unbeaten streak on the line again when they host the struggling Colts at 8:30PM ET on Monday night. Carolina is coming off back-to-back impressive victories, having beat the Seahawks 27-23 in Seattle in Week 6 and then hanging on to beat Philadelphia 27-16 as a 3-point home favorite in Week 7. The Panthers have covered three straight spreads and are currently 6.5-point favorites on Monday night.
