Oddsmakers have the Panthers as a road dog, giving Carolina +1.5 points against the Bucs. Of the wagers being placed on this game, 70 percent are going on Carolina with the points. Carolina is 4-3 on the season, 3-4 against the spread and 3-1 ATS on the road. Tampa Bay is 2-4 overall, 1-4-1 against the spread and 1-2 ATS at home. Tampa has won the last two in this series, but Carolina has covered the spread in six of the last eight meetings with Tampa Bay.
One game that has the bettors confused is today’s 4:05PM ET kickoff when the Seattle Seahawks host the Houston Texans. Oddsmakers list the Seahawks as a 7-point favorite at home against the Texas. Of the wagers being placed, 51 percent are going on Seattle at home. The Seahawks are 4-2 overall, 3-3 against the spread and 1-1 ATS at home. Houston is 3-3 overall, 4-2 ATS and 2-0 ATS on the road. These two have just three all-time meetings. Seattle has won and covered in two of the three encounters.
