Diggs not expected to play for Vikings
The Minnesota Vikings are expecting to be without one of their top playmakers as Stefon Diggs is questionable with a rib injury for their 1PM ET game against the Detroit Lions. According to oddsmakers at BetNow.eu, the Vikings are currently listed as a 4.5-point favorite at home against the Lions. Despite holding a questionable label, reports have Diggs not likely to play today. This season, Diggs has caught 58 passes for 587 yards and four touchdowns. If he is unable to play, it could impact Adam Thielen, who is leading the NFL in receiving, which is aided by Diggs drawing a lot of defensive attention.
Jets continue to be thin at receiver
The New York Jets could be without their leading two receivers for the second straight week when they go on the road to face the Miami Dolphins at 1PM ET. Oddsmakers are listing the Dolphins as a 3-point favorite at home against the Jets. New York receivers Quincy Enunwa and Robby Anderson are both questionable to play in today’s game because of ankle injuries. The two have combined for 39 receptions for 601 yards and four touchdowns in 2018. Without these two last week, Sam Darnold just threw for 153 yards on 14 of 29 passing.
Kupp returning for the Rams
The Los Angeles Rams get back one of their top playmakers today for their big game against the Saints in New Orleans at 4:25PM ET. Cooper Kupp is returning from a knee injury that had him sit out the last two weeks. According to the oddsmakers, the Rams are a 1.5-point favorite on the road against the Saints. Kupp is third on the team in receptions with 30, and third in receiving yards with 438. However, he has a team-high five touchdown receptions.
